Expanding our mission.

Growth and expansion are critical to continuing to deliver on our mission. During 2010, hundreds of millions of dollars were invested in numerous construction and expansion projects that position Centura Health to responsibly and sustainably maintain our unique position as Colorado’s health care leader.

GROWING TO MEET COMMUNITY NEEDS

We added additional hospice beds at St. Anthony Central Hospital and St. Anthony North Hospital.

Mercy Regional Medical Center in Durango was integrated with Centura Health in order to extend care to the Four Corners region.

We forged an affiliation with San Luis Valley Regional Medical Center in Alamosa, bringing quality care close to home for residents of Alamosa and surrounding communities.

We partnered with Kaiser Permanente to expand access to the tens of thousands of insured residents in southern Colorado.

HEALTH AT HOME COMBINES WITH SENIOR SERVICES

Health at Home and Senior Services merged in 2010 to allow for expansion of services by providing an integrated network of home care and senior care to over 7,200 individuals.

By consolidating, Centura Health at Home coordinates and extends reach into the communities we serve, into the actual residences of the people we serve.

Health at Home expands palliative care services in acute and home care settings.
